Andrea Broadhurst and Beth Ashfield at Number 10 Downing Street

Back in February Andrea and Beth were invited to 10 Downing Street by the MP for East Devon, Simon Jupp. The event was celebrating local food producers and farmers, and Coldharbour was chosen to represent our lovely corner of East Devon.

Putting politics aside for one minute (!) this was a great honour for Andrea and Beth who work tirelessly to promote local produce and are passionate about local farming. Of course, Andrea is an ethical farmer, raising sheep and pigs at Coldharbour Farm using only high welfare conditions.

During their visit, they met the Environment Secretary, Steve Barclay MP, and Farming Minister, Mark Spencer MP. Mr Barclay gave a talk about the importance of food security in the UK.

Thank you to Mr Jupp for the invitation.
