Our heart is in the land

Coldharbour Farm Shop and Field Kitchen was launched in 2016 by business partners, Andrea Broadhurst and Beth Ashfield.

Andrea’s family has farmed the land here since the 1930s when her grandfather Harry Williams started his dairy farm. Andrea continues the farming traditions with her family. Our lamb, mutton, and pork comes from animals raised at Coldharbour Farm with the highest welfare standards and we’re proud to support other local farmers and suppliers who follow the same ethos.

Beth is our culinary queen, using her passion for cooking and appreciation of really good, locally produced food to create the most tempting dishes. For Beth, provenance is everything and her desire to exceed customer expectations is evident in every menu, from breakfast and lunch to tapas evenings and Sunday roasts.

From humble beginnings, the business now combines the Field Kitchen, purpose built in 2022, with the original Farm Shop, which sits on part of the land that used to be the farm’s dairy parlour. You can stroll between the two locations to enjoy all that Coldharbour offers.
